“If you haven’t had a chance yet to check out The Last of Us, this is a nicely priced gateway to checking out the world and characters so many people (and critics loved).
Players can buy, download, and play Left Behind without owning any other piece of The Last of Us. The Last of Us: Left Behind will be available on PS3 and PS4 for $9.99. However, since it is a prequel, with only a few scenes taking place during the main campaign, it does hold up well on its own and Naughty Dog is now taking advantage of that by making it into a separate, standalone download starting May 12th. Offering a prequel story of Ellie and her friend Riley, Left Behind was a fantastic look at the character that gamers had come to love so much through the main game. The Last of Us was already a fantastic game, but it’s DLC ‘Left Behind’ added greatly to the experience.
